Daytona Beach Vintage Motorcycle Race Shirt - 1949 WLDR WR 101 Scout
Here is a great shirt! This shirt features amazing vintage graphics from the historic 1949 Daytona Beach Races on a brand new high quality T-shirt. This image was originally used as a promotional poster/ flyer for the 1949 races and luckily a few survived. This was and still is one of Americas most famous motorcycle races. The 1949 Race was only the 3rd running of the famous 200 mile Beach race after the war. Fans were delighted to see Indian Scouts, Harley WR’s, Triumphs, Matchless, BMW’s and some very fast Norton Manxs motorcycle battle for first. Dick Klamforth ended up winning on his factory prepared 500cc single cylinder Norton Manx. This shirt features a high quality ‘last forever’ antiqued boe white ink print on black T-shirt. This shirt has a great image of a rider tucked down on his Harley or Indian racer, leaning back on the Bates pillion pad, gripping his Flanders racing bars as he streaks along the sandy beach of Daytona, Florida. Fans of this race and of this era of racing will truly appreciate this amazing shirt. Get this for your next vintage road run, race or swap! If you missed the chance to get a souvenir in 1949 ( I think most of us did!) here is your chance now! OK back to the garage for me! That is it! High quality 100% cotton shirt.
